how ya like the new purple theme?

(if you enjoy the :hover pseudoclass on your browser, it will be easier to read text on top of certain parts of the background.)

The purple looks great. The hover thing confused hell outta me for a minute, but once I caught on, it made perfect sense. Very nice.

not bad. i'll need to call on you to help me with the css and javascript on a site I've been called in to clean up before it launches. (dumb graphic designer with modest flash skills, designed this organization's logo and wanted a web site in his portfolio, proceeded to get them to let him create a c.1997 cyber site showcasing his frivolous flash based navigation piece. end result was completely unscalable in every sense of the word, just non-css autogenerated HTML created by slicing up a mockup into a table full of images in ImageReady ... plus there's a separate 200k flash movie on every page for navigation because this guy doesn't know what he's doing...)

anyway, check your sociable css and the use of spans around the "share and enjoy" phrase... the tagline popup thing appears when you mouse over anywhere on the entire "share and enjoy" text line, all the way out to the right margin. it's weird to have it popup when your mouse is not pointing at anything but blank space.

Whoa! And they still want that site? With 200k flash to load on every page?! Crazy. But yeah, anything you need. jeremy*jeremyjarratt|com.

Yeah, that sociable popup really threw me off when i first installed it, but i think i'm pretty much ok with that behavior for now, because it's not a link, and there's really no indication that there's any surprise information hidden in a specific spot, so including it all the way across is better than including it in a smaller area with no indication that it's even there. But i'm trying to work out a more tasteful and obvious way to do it, like maybe using a dashed bottom border and just having it pop up over the "share and enjoy" bit, like a title over an acronym or (one can hope) abbr tag.
