Childreach does quite a lot to help the orphaned children in Africa...from the aids pandemic. Adopting a child could be a good thing. They help get profalatics, and information out. Also, recently, had a meeting with the religious leaders, near the Congo, to encourage the leaders to help reduce negative stigmas about aids infected people.
Alarming numbers, eh considering this is a virus with no cure, as of yet. Within the next twenty years, the number of aids-orphaned children in Africa is expected, or predicted to reach 11 million.
