Brokeback Mountain fiasco
Jan. 9th, 2006 07:14 amso some theatre in Utah canceled Brokeback Mountain.
i don't even have anything to say about that. i just can't believe that in 2006, people are STILL so uptight about sex.
we'd rather see violence and other acts of hate than acts of love, generally speaking, and the portrayal of a brave act of socially unacceptable love (remember, it's a PERIOD piece), in a work of beautifully tragic art, is being kicked around, probably for some bulldada "moral" reason.
come on! seriously, if anyone on my friends list seriously has a problem with this film, please just go ahead and defriend me now. anyone that shitty is beyond reasoning with.
