update on work

my fuckwit boss pulled me into her office today, after explaining to the whole crew how we can no longer be off the phones without express supervisor permission (thanks, i'm well aware, to yours truly). she told me that i was permanently off of the online resource guides project.

so, yeah, thanks and all that, y'know, whatever, but Erica just got a program to make a thing, so now it'll be a lot better.

how's that for tact?

i have lost all pride, faith, and confidence in my employers, just as they suddenly, without warning, and (most hurtfully) arbitrarily have with me. in short, LTD can kiss my ass.

...so, am I allowed to guess which evil place it is you're working for? I think I know, and I know it's not the one I like.

At any rate, this development is not surprising. It bites the big one, but that's corporate games for you. Since your boss didn't take initiative in the right manner, and your boss's boss was more angry over this than appreciative of what you did, your boss was left in the position of growing a backbone and being screwed career wise for the rest of her business life with this company, or just making an arbitrary change to make her boss think she's following directions. Unfortunately your boss is a spineless bitch who would rather appease the misguided and power hungry boss than to continue having the correct thing developed.

Anyways, I hope you find someone a little less evil to work for soon.
